Terms of Service & Liability Release
By booking a rental or event service with OptiX Interactive ("The Provider"), the Client ("The Customer") agrees to the following terms and conditions.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance is due prior to the start of setup on the day of the event. Payments are processed securely via Square.
Electronic equipment cannot be operated in rain, snow, or high winds (gusts exceeding 15mph). OptiX Interactive monitors the weather 48 hours prior to the event.
The Client assumes full responsibility for the equipment from the time of setup until takedown.
OptiX Interactive is not liable for any injuries sustained by guests during the event (e.g., tripping over cables in the dark). We take precautions to tape down cords, but the Client is responsible for maintaining a safe environment.
The Client must provide a standard working electrical outlet within 100 feet of the setup area. If no power is available, the Client must notify OptiX Interactive in advance to arrange a generator (additional fee applies).
Hardware Provider Only: The Client acknowledges that OptiX Interactive is providing audiovisual hardware (screens, projectors, speakers) and technical support only.
Client Responsibility: The Client acts as the "Exhibitor" and assumes full responsibility for obtaining all necessary copyright, licensing, and public performance rights for any media displayed using the rented equipment. This includes, but is not limited to:
OptiX Interactive does not sell, rent, or provide copyrighted media content (movies/games) for public performance. For "BYOD" (Bring Your Own Device) events, the Client or their guests are responsible for the content played on their personal consoles/devices.
OptiX Interactive reserves the right to capture photos or video of the setup (excluding minors' faces unless a specific waiver is signed) for marketing purposes. If you prefer no photos be taken, please notify us in writing prior to the event.
